If you enjoyed the animation below, then you should hire Pete Wolf to handle your next animation project.  Pete's immense amount of patience and professional demeanor were greatly appreciated by us!  He is originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin USA, is schooled in multimedia production, and is working on his personal Web site to show samples of his unique style of Web site animation and design.

Regarding his animation design, Miss iD cries a blood tear because today's political relations could lead to World War III while she only hopes for her solution:  World peace through the healing effects of the arts via her magazine, iDlympics, iDucation, and Explosion of the Arts III.  Two images, the iD Magazine logo and the Miss iD image, were used on Pete's animation and can easily be obtained from the pages of this site.  The entry animation was created using Macromedia Flash and uses music from Wally Badarou.

Pete's animation is best viewed by using a high speed Internet connection.  If you are using a dial-up connection, please take the time to allow the animation to completely load, then hit the replay button.  It should play faster the second time.

Click on the replay button to start the animation again.

Call to Animators

There is only one animation currently displayed on this site.  Viewers will hopefully one day have the opportunity to compare many different animations.  Many versions of the same theme by different artists could be displayed for viewers to choose their favorites as part of the iDlympics.

There are several planned themes shown below and we welcome artists to create their interpretation of these ideas or those of their own.  Please send your ideas for other themes to be entered in the competition.  This will give animators a better choice and all of us more to enjoy.  We hope that you start work on your animation soon and send your finished product to us as soon as possible.  We also welcome you to send other designs.  Sooner is better because a peaceful World War of the Arts shouldn't wait.

>     See the Earth...see the earth exploding...see the words Explosion of the Arts III....back up and see the iD Magazine logo with Earth spinning behind the life ring (the ring with the text MAGAZINE)...back up to reveal Miss iD's blue iris...back up to reveal her entire eye and show a blood tear form...as the tear runs down, back up to show her entire face...back up to reveal the entire Miss iD image...show a small glimmer in her eye as another tear forms

>     See the waves and storm in the ocean....see the Earth fall into the water like a comet shooting from the sky....see it plunge below the surface of the water, making a large splash...see it rise with the bubbles and gasp for breath at the surface before sinking again....see it's thoughts (I need a life ring)...see Earth dip up and submerge back down as a life ring arrives in the form of a spaceship...see the words Explosion of the Arts III...see a life ring spaceship hover above the Earth...see Earth lifted up with transporter beam, by the ship plunging in the water below the Earth and rising to lift Earth out of the water, or some other creative way of getting the Earth on board...see the spaceship with Earth fly away and become the iD Magazine logo in the sky above the water

>     See the Earth and Moon rotating as normal...see them fight...see words WWIII appear...see the moon repeatedly ram itself into the Earth and cause an explosion...see the words Explosion of the Arts III...see the explosion in the logo...back up and see the entire iD Magazine logo with Earth spinning behind the lifering...back up to reveal Miss iD's blue iris with the iD logo in her pupil...back up to reveal her entire eye and show a blood tear form...as the tear runs down, back up to show her entire face...back up to reveal the entire Miss iD image...show a small glimmer in her eye as another tear forms
